Even though I have a nice little office set up at home, sometimes I just want to get out and be among the two-legged people, but I feel guilty leaving my fuzzy co-worker at home. Now, were he patient enough, I could bring him to a pet-friendly co-working space in Charlotte, but he gets restless and doesn’t care for other dogs. However, if you work from home and your dog IS the kind that would behave out and about, you’re probably wondering where to take him/her. I’ve compiled a list of Charlotte’s pet-friendly workspaces where your dog is welcome to “help” you get your shiz done.
- Bijou Workspace – Owner Lori Parrish has opened up her small workspace off Randolph Road to freelancers, entrepreneurs and the like who want to bring their dog to work. Rates are reasonable and as a bonus, 5% of all profits are donated to the Humane Society of Charlotte.
- Hygge – Hygge has multiple locations in Charlotte, including 3rd Ward, West Charlotte and Camp North End. As long as your furry counterparts are well-behaved and friendly, bring them in!
- Lightbulb Co-Working – Located between South End and Uptown, Lightbulb is open 24 hours, so you can bring your guard dog whenever you’d like.
If you know of any spaces I should add to my list, write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
